We’re pleased to announce that we’ll soon be introducing a brand new tool in MAX RM called Script Builder.
With Script Builder, your technicians can create powerful custom scripts that can be used for Automated Tasks and Script Checks, without the need to write actual code – instead, you can use Script Builder’s flexible drag-&-drop interface to compile scripts. Choose from hundreds of ready-made components, covering the full range of Windows IT system commands, to extend the Dashboard’s automation capabilities to exactly match your technical and business needs.
The July 2016 release of MAX Backup/ IASO 16.7 was posted to the MAX download and IASO download sites on June 29th. The scheduled date for it to be pushed to the Auto Update Service is still TBD.
Version 16.7 is a maintenance release focused on addressing usability, performance and customer reported issued.
In today’s release, we’re pleased to announce a set of improvements to Patch Management’s Vulnerability Check. In addition, we’re enhancing the Summary Tab in the South Pane to show additional software and hardware information for the device, and we have an update to Roles & Permissions so that you can now enable Dashboard reports for end-client user logins.
The issues being experienced by Microsoft customers, using the Exchange online protection service have improved, and connectivity to/from their service has drastically improved.
The latest update from Microsoft states: “We’ve completed the process of restarting services and are shifting traffic to a healthy portion of the infrastructure to reduce impact. In parallel, we’re reverting a recent update which may have caused the service to operate below the expected threshold.”
